CLEAN ENERGY

The basis of any Progressive Cavity Single Screw Pump is a power section which usually consists of a metal rotor (n-start external helix) and a rubber stator (n+1-start internal helix). Rotation of the rotor inside the stator creates sealed cavities that progressively move from suction to discharge side of the pump producing differential pressure.

TASK: The Institute of Nuclear Energy in Kazakhstan provided a technical task for the pump unit that should provide uniform and non-pulsed delivery of distilled water to a testing system with a head pressure up to 16 bar and a capacity up to 35 m3 / h.

SOLUTION: The single-screw pump unit SOLTEC ® BN076S03FY for pumping of distilled water was designed, manufactured and shipped to the Customer. Mentioned screw pump is designed for installation within a test bench, in a stainless design, with using an electric motor 37 kW and a reducer of the Slovak company STROINA. The gerotor pump is capable of developing pressure up to 18 bar with a capacity of up to 45 m3 / h.

The main characteristics of the screw pump set BN076S03FY:

  • Pump type - horizontal single-screw PC pump
  • Material of the flowing part - stainless steel 12Х18Н10Т
  • The maximum outlet pressure - 18 bar
  • Rated output - 35 m3 / h
  • Seal type of drive shaft - single mechanical seal
  • Installed power - 37 kW
