PROGRESSIVE CAVITY PUMPS

The basis of any Progressive Cavity Single Screw Pump is a power section which usually consists of a metal rotor (n-start external helix) and a rubber stator (n+1-start internal helix). Rotation of the rotor inside the stator creates sealed cavities that progressively move from suction to discharge side of the pump producing differential pressure.

Under the request one of the largest enterprises of the nuclear industry has been manufactured and shipped set of pump units BV045L01FYYX, designed for transfer of chemically active liquids from containers.

Single screw submersible pump BV045L01FYYX designed for transfer weak acids solutions from buried tanks that have volume 5 m3 and depth of 5.5 meters.

The working capacity of pump unit is 10 m3 / hour with a head up to 60 meters.

The flow channel is made of stainless steel AISI 321. Pump units have electric engines with U2 climatic version and 1ExdIIBT4 explosion proof level. The gearboxes made by Italian firm VARMEC. The drive shafts of pumps fitted with double mechanical seals that have special washing cisterns.
