CLEAN ENERGY

The basis of any Progressive Cavity Single Screw Pump is a power section which usually consists of a metal rotor (n-start external helix) and a rubber stator (n+1-start internal helix). Rotation of the rotor inside the stator creates sealed cavities that progressively move from suction to discharge side of the pump producing differential pressure.

The company SOLTEC ® Nomomoskovsky Mechanical Plant, had a task to pump sugar massecuite, heavy product that has a viscosity of over 70,000 cps. Also it was necessary to provide a high performance feed.

Using the experience of designing and manufacturing equipment, engineering and design department has chosen the optimal arrangement of the pump, which includes screw pair with high pressure  and screw feeder. The pumping of such media is possible only at a very low speed of the rotor. And we made the BN090S02HZS pump with output rotor speed not exceeding of 150 rev/min and a capacity of 20 m3/h. So considering the abrasiveness of the massecuite, low rotor RPM significantly increases the resource of the rubber stator, and the entire pump as a whole.
